Hockey 4 Community & 1st Nations Hockey Equipment Drive
Hello Georgina Blaze families,

While the hockey season unfortunately has come to an early end, we are all optimistically looking ahead to the fall when hockey will start back up again.

That being said, GMHA is supporting YSE Community Relations Committee as they plan two events for this upcoming September that will benefit from any planned spring cleaning you’re about to do.

With the success of the YSE Winter Coat Drive these past several years, we are excited to partner with several local minor hockey associations to expand this important community program.

To date, YSE has donated over 1400 winter clothing items to local community support organizations such as Belinda's Place, Blue Door Shelters & York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families.

This year, Hockey 4 Community (formally YSE Winter Coat Drive) will have a donation bin with signage inside the Magna Centre. The donation bin will be by the hockey arena entrance for the entire month of September for you to drop off your donations.

Items needed: Children, Women and Men’s winter coats, boots, snow pants, toques, mitts & running shoes.
