Black Bear Update
Hey calling all you Black Bears. We welcome Spencer Knispel to our team. His father Steve is a good friend of mine who I've played many years of hockey with and will be bringing his hockey knowledge to our coaching staff. Welcome Knispels!
Hello everyone. We have been progressing well. We have had a lot of 6am practices. The load lightens up in the coming weeks with later practice and game times. It would be nice to see the whole team out learning and playing together.
We have pictures at 9:15 am at the Ice Palace multi-purpose room located in the lobby. Please check www.georginahockey.com for all details. Retakes will take place Tues Nov 6 at the Ice Palacce between 5 and 9pm. If you are unable to make the team photo parents will be responsible for the payment of photo-shopping their child into the team photo.
We will stick to the Hockey Canada Development program regarding skating, edging, balance and puck control in the coming weeks in practices. We will also continue to repeat positioning on face-offs and begin teaching offsides and also introduce some skills that we feel these children are capable of.
