The Green Hornets
Hello everyone. As you all now know we will now be referred to as The Green Hornets. It came down to making a decision based on your child's vote. It was a tough decision between Green Machine and The Green Hornets. I chose the Green Hornets because it is cute, applicable and I believe we will sting all of our competition. It also bodes well for a cute logo for the kids.
We have collected all of the team jersey's. We will be putting your child's last name on the back of the jersey. The cost to us parents is $12 per child. If you could please pay Keith Geniole our assistant coach as soon as next weekend that would be greatly appreciated. We also want to ask if you could confirm your attendance for next weekend as we want to put together a little loot bag for the kids for Halloween. If you would like to contribute to this please bring something for Saturday's practice and we will hand out the loot bags after next Sunday's game.
Skylar Baker is in net next weekend. Other kids have expressed an interest in playing goalie again but I would like to offer it up to kids that want to give it a try and haven't played yet before going back through the others.
Now I want to ask everyone a couple of questions that I would like an email response to as soon as possible. Would everyone be interested in going to a house league tournament with this team? And would there be interest in getting extra ice for this team? Both would cost us financially. As for cost not exactly sure yet but if there is enough interest I will look into it asap and get back with numbers. As for our team roster we had everyone in attendance this week and we went through the order as previously was explained although the format isn't set up properly to understand it on this website which I will try to change.
I believe that this is it for now folks. Thanks for the patience and understanding of this hockey season and we will continue to develop and teach your kids to the best of our efforts about this great game of hockey. :)
