 Welcome to Super 6 AA
 Head Coach – Dermot Anderson

Hello everyone my name is Dermot Anderson. I am the Head Coach of this year’s Super 6 AA Hockey Club. This is just a short introduction about myself. I have been involved with the Georgina Minor Hockey Association for the last 6 years. I helped run the hockey school in Sutton for 2 years (2007 and 2008) then coached tyke house league (2009) then the Super 7 AA program (2010) then the Novice AA program along with helping out the Hockey School program (2011) then returned to coach and convene tyke house league last year. I was awarded the Super 6 AA team for this upcoming season earlier in the year. I have also just finished coaching a Spring Hockey team based out of Alliston, the Simcoe County Cyclones consisting of 2003 aged kids from Georgina, New Tecumseh and Barrie. I played my minor hockey for the Sutton Minor Hockey Association where I was invited to try out for the OMHA Under 17 program. I also played one year of Jr. A with the Espanola Eagles of the NOJHL. I continue to play the game today in the Georgina Men’s Hockey League. I am married to Sandi. We have 2 children. Kaden, our oldest who is 9 and plays Major Atom AA and our youngest Kyan who is 6 and will be trying out for this year’s Super 6 AA team. We live in Sutton. I have my own Stone & Masonry business. I am a very passionate hockey fan and coach. I hope that I can instill this into your child throughout their playing career with me. Like all great teams I believe that it is essential to surround yourself with a great knowledgeable coaching staff that can help direct the right message and have the necessary skills to bring out the best ability of your child. We will set our goals very high. We will have expectations. This basically will be your introduction to the beginning of your child’s rep hockey career. Most of us will be a family for many years to come. Saying that some will move to new towns and homes, some to AAA, some back down to AE to further develop and most will continue to stay at the AA level. So I hope if you have a child who is interested to committing to this program I hope to see you out to this years try outs now posted on the GMHA website. We hope to make it a fun and very great experience for your child and family this upcoming season.
