Minor Atom AA’s Show True Spirit of the Season
The players and
families of the Georgina Blaze Minor Atom AA Hockey Team were reminded of the
real reason for the holiday season this year. In an effort to give back to the
community, the team adopted a local family for the holidays. The players
embraced the idea that it is better to give than to receive, and they showed
their generosity of spirit by providing Christmas gifts for all nine family
members. Thanks to the big-heartedness of the team, a local family had a one of
a kind Christmas this year! Well done Blaze!
A special
thanks goes to Lesley Blackburn with help from Sharon Geniole for organizing
the event and to the Bingham family for opening up their home for the gift
wrapping party.
