Returning the favour.....
After a tightly contested 6-5 loss to the Stouffville Clippers our boys returned the favour with a 2-1 win over that same Clippers team on Wednesday night.....
The boys used smothering team defense combined with some timely saves and scoring to pull ahead of the Clippers into 6th place overall! The Blaze are now 4-4-1 in their last 9 games and are really starting to see their hard work paying off with some wins!
The win over the Clippers puts a halt to Stouffville's dominance over the Blaze and the boys will look to even up the season series when they meet for the final time in January.
Next on the schedule, a game vs our arch enemies from Newmarket, the Redmen have had our # this year winning both meetings thus far, both games have been close with Newmarket winning 3-1 with an empty netter and then 4-3 in our most recent game, either way, the third game of this series vs Newmarket will be the most important game yet as Georgina will attempt to close the gap on the 5th place Redmen, should be another close one!
