SUMMER PROGRAM, News, Minor Midget, 2016-2017, AA (Georgina Minor Hockey Association)

Hi Team,
I hope all is well and you are ready to enjoy the nice weather, I am looking forward to getting to know the boys over the course of the year. We have a lot of ice time and development coming up in the next 2 months to help the players be game ready.

Starting July 5th we have our dry land with Metamorfit at Keswick High school from 8 pm till 9 pm, Andy Laird who runs the program has an intense program set up for them to be stronger and faster. August 5th -8th we are in the King Of The Rings tournament in Toronto this tournament is great we are guaranteed 5 games to a max of 6 games over the course of that weekend, i have asked for later times on the Friday to accommodate any of the players that are starting school earlier.

The end of July we have ice time as well as August and this ice will be used for development with Ben Davis and the coaching staff to teach game tactics to make sure they are ready for the season. Starting the first week of September we are at the private rink with Total Hockey skills once a week, these will have two instructors on the ice sometimes three and will be broken down into small games development for most parts.
