Program goals: have fun, get active, learn fundamental hockey skills, develop and refine Basic Motor Skills, cooperation and fair play.
Tentative program days and dates:
Program start: Mid October
Program end: end of March
Program Days: Saturday morning 1 hour and Sunday morning 1 hour
Championship Day: end of March
Instruction and Delivery:
The program will be delivered by a professional instructor utilizing parent volunteers.
Parent volunteers will be given training opportunities and provided with Hockey Canada’s skills resource material to help with the delivery of the program.
The Programs:
Players will be separated into Groups depending on overall numbers.

October - Mid November(development phase)
Players skills will be enhanced through skill instruction and correction, station based drills, and small area games.
Mid November-March (regular season)
Within each group players will be organized into teams and receive Jerseys and Socks.
1 hour skills/practice(Saturday or Sunday)+ 1 hour structured game(Saturday or Sunday) for a total of 2 hours per weekend.
Championship day (playoffs)
1 playoff game with player introduction, spot light and national anthem.

Cross ice (New regulation boards system to separate the ice surface)
2 min Shifts on a buzzer
