Program Days

Saturday mornings ---> Skills Development

Our Professional Development Coach will have a season development plan designed specific to each age group. The program will be adapted as changes need to be made, all with the ultimate goal of the most positive development of the skaters in mind.

The Program will cover all aspects of hockey player development: skating, shooting, passing, puck control, core work / balance / agility and increasing the skater’s hockey IQ.

Our skill development days are the foundation to making this program the success it is every year.

Sunday mornings ---> Game Days

  • ·        4 on 4
  • ·        Cross Ice (New regulation boards system to separate the ice surface)
  • ·        2 min shifts on a buzzer.
  • ·        NO full-time goaltenders for the age groups of U5, U6, U7 (as this is part of the Hockey Canada Pathways Program)

Program Conclusion: Championship Day is March 23/24. This day is all about the kids!

All teams all are introduced with pregame on-ice customized player introductions, smoke machine, concert lights, cameras, music, and red carpets. They all get the full NHL Experience !

It is day to remember, make sure your phone is fully charged !!

Program Instruction and Delivery

Our U7 Hockey School Program will be delivered by a professional hockey instructor utilizing parent volunteers.

Parent volunteers are all given training and provided with Hockey Canada’s skills resource material to help with the delivery of the program.

On Ice Parent Volunteers
