The 2023/24 GMHA Goaltending Academy will be commencing on Saturday, November 11, 2023
ALL sessions will take place at: SUTTON ARENA
16 weeks in total
- NOVEMBER: 11,18,25
- DECEMBER: 9,16
- JANUARY: 6,13,20,27
- FEBRUARY: 3,10,17,24
- MARCH: 9,16,23
Saturday sessions will run in (2) groups:
- JUNIORS --- 8-9am Skaters: (U9-U12)
- SENIORS --- 9-10am Skaters: (U13-U18)
Cost: $500 per skater (for 16 sessions, which is a cost of $31.25 per session for Semi-Private)
Program Details:
- For each ice session, upon arrival at Sutton Arena, dressing room numbers will be designated for each time slot on the dressing room chalkboard.
- There will be (4) highly experienced Goaltending Coaches, and (1) on-ice shooting volunteer on the ice for each session.
- 50 mins for each session
- On-ice work will be done in (4) stations working on every aspect of goaltender development: tactical, technical, conditioning, game strategy.
- The on-ice sessions will be video filmed by Total Goaltending and provided to everyone for FREE.
As well, off-ice GMHA Goaltending Academy Video Drill Hub on You Tube is being provided to all goalies and their respective coaching staffs at no extra charge, allowing teams to use goaltending specific drills during team practices providing all goalies consistent discipline continuing their personal skills development.
Additional Services offered from Total Goaltending (at an additional cost by each skater)
Game Video Analysis (game film provided by the parents) It takes Total Goaltending roughly 2 hours to properly analyze a game, visually represent their feedback, put their detailed analysis in a format that is easily digestible for the goalies, their coaches and their parents. Parents or coaches provide the game footage, and Total Goaltending will do the rest.
LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE. Only 12 spots available per group. Once capacity is met, those registered skaters will be put on a waitlist. James Demarco will contact waitlisted skaters by the end of October with an update, and potential next steps.
