I just wanted to let everyone know that we have filled all of the GMHA Board Positions for the upcoming season except for the Ice Scheduler. Dave Sedore has agreed to stay on as Ice Scheduler for the GMHA but since it is going to be a paid position (rate dependant on experience) we feel it necessary to be fair and ask if anyone else is interested, so please send an email to me directly at
[email protected] by next Monday (June 25th by 6:00PM) after which we will be setting up interviews and then voting on the position.

I want to thank all of you for stepping up this year, we’ve only had two full Board Meetings since the AGM but we’ve accomplished a lot in those meetings. Every Director is looking for volunteers to help out this year, the more we get the better.
Our #1 priority for the the Board of Directors this year is Coach, Player and Referee Development and so the most volunteers are required for those Committees if you feel you could donate some time or even just have some ideas for consideration please send them to Dave Weller’s attention at [email protected].
We are also looking for HL Coaches which we have had a few already interested in that we will be following up with but if you are interested please fill in the application on the website and forward it to our Coaching Director Bryan Burbidge at [email protected].
