September Coaching Clinics- Register NOW!!

Georgina is offering the CHIP, Coach Refresher, and Development 1 coaching courses in September 2012.

Please contact Katera Mahussier at [email protected] to register for the program. Names will be kept on a list until we ensure there are enough to go forward with the courses. If we meet our mimimum then we will contact everyone to arrange payment. There is a minimum of 20 participants to run these courses

The NCCP and CHIP Coaching Programs offered by the OMHA are designed to provide volunteer coaches with the tools necessary to improve athlete development. Whether it is certifications programs, specialty clinics, mentorship or high performance, ultimately the goal is to provide the player with the best possible experience. Coaches are encouraged to continually build on their current skills by taking an NCCPcertification course, Coach Refresher Clinic, finding a Coach Mentor, or taking specialty courses within their local association.

The dates for these courses are as follows:

Coach Refresher is Wednesday Sept 5, 2012 from 6-10pm at The Georgina Ice Palace Please come 1/2 an hour early to sign in and bring your expired coaching card with you. Fee is $60.00

CHIP is Saturday Sept 22, 2012 from 8am-3pm at The Georgina Ice Palace followed by 90 minutes of ice. Please come 1/2 an hour early to sign in. Fee is $120.00

Development 1 is a two day program, Saturday and Sunday Sept 29/30 from 8am- 5pm at The Georgina Ice Palace followed by 2 hours of ice on only day two (Sunday). Please come 1/2 an hour early to sign in.
Fee is $180.00
