OMHA Update.
September 15, 2021

From the OMHA.

Yesterday, the Government of Ontario announced details regarding the requirement for Proof of Vaccination in certain settings including an exemption relating to youth under 18 years of age actively participating in indoor organized sport applies to training, practices, games and competitions.

This announcement, without any rationale for the exemption, has caused confusion for public health units, municipalities and community sport organizations.

In light of this announcement, the OMHA Board of Directors will be meeting to review the OMHA Vaccination Policy and will provide an update by Monday, September 20,2021.
