2023/24 GMHA Checking Clinics

Attention: U14 Players & Parents,
All U14 players that intend to register for contact hockey (AA or A) in the 2023/24 Season with MUST complete a checking clinic BEFORE attending spring tryouts for Upper York Minor Hockey Representative ‘AA’ or ‘A’ tryouts the week of May 1-7 (AA), May 8-14 (A).
U14 players can take a checking clinic on their own (but must show proof of clinic completion at tryouts) or, take the clinics being offered by the Georgina Minor Hockey Association. We, in partnership with the OMHA NCCP Coaches Program are hosting (2) clinics on the following dates:
Dates: April 18 and 21, 2023
Location: Georgina Ice Palace
Please Note:
- All U15 & U16 players that want a checking clinic refresher are welcome to register, but it is not mandatory if they have been playing contact hockey currently.
- Any players currently playing ‘MD’ (non contact) and wanting to AP for Rep hockey for their respective age Rep ‘AA’ or ‘A’ Team MUST complete a Checking Clinic
