GMHA Volunteer Registration

Information for ALL the 2023/24 Season Volunteers (on ice volunteers and bench staff).

Volunteer Requirements

To be completed ONE TIME:

Respect In Sport, Activity leader: https://omha.respectgroupinc.com/koala_final/ à this is a 30 min course, the cost is $20
GENDER IDENTITY AND EXPRESSION COURSE: https://page.spordle.com/ohf/clinics/1edff199-d2a2-6812-889c-02526a10bd56 à this is a 2 hour course, the cost is $0.00

To be completed every 3 years:

York Regional Police VSS: https://www.yrp.ca/en/services/vulnerable-sector-check.asp à this is a simple online application, it takes 2-3 days to receive from YRP. Cost is $32 with association provided Volunteer letter. Please contact [email protected] requesting a volunteer letter and include your full name (as documented on your drivers licence).

To be completed annually:

Registration through Hockey Canada with critical waivers signed off: Volunteer Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Georgina Minor Hockey Association. All of our programming relies on volunteers for their success.
