Most Dedicated Junior House League Player (Minor Tyke-Atom) (Georgina Minor Hockey Association)

Print Most Dedicated Junior House League Player (Minor Tyke-Atom)
Ken Hackenbrook has been a long time volunteer with hockey in Georgina. He started volunteering in 1971 with the “South Shore Minor Hockey League” here in Georgina and was key in the development of what still exists today as our Hockey School Program in 1974. The Ken Hackenbrook trophy has been around since 1985. Throughout the years Ken has remained a dedicated volunteer to the sport and to this day you can see him helping the young hockey stars of Georgina in our very popular hockey school program. This award is presented to a Jr. House league player who displays the same kind of dedication to the sport as Ken Hackenbrook has over the years. This award honours the player who: • attends practices regularly; • shows enthusiasm and sportsmanship no matter what the score is; • overall has a genuine love for the game!
