Playoff Format 2012/2013
The York Simcoe Minor Hockey League presented the Proposed Playoff Format to the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, August 25, 2012.
The OMHA was advised that York Simcoe Minor Hockey League has voted to allow the top four teams in each Division of “AA”, “A” and “AE” to participate in the OMHA Play Downs and the remainder of the teams would compete in the York Simcoe Playoffs. This is a “one year trial”.
The “FOUR TEAMS” advancing to the OMHA Playoffs will commence during the 2012/2013 season.
