NotesA crushing game, with a downward slope that started with a wipe out! Things looked up for Team 1 when they scored the first goal early in the 1st. Team 2 answered back to tie it up mid period, then popped in another to make it 2-1, just a minute later. Despite this Team 1 kept it up strong to close the first, looking for a tie game. The tie-chance got further away from Team 1, however, when team 2 got another goal in the middle of the 2nd. 3 minutes later, Team 1 clawed one back to make it 3-2 for Team 2. The wind was strong in the sails going into the 3rd for Team 1 but once the period began, the downward slope became quite steep. Team 2 popped in 4 goals in the period, all 2 minutes apart of each other, and they took the win 7-2. If fortunes be told, it began with the wipeout before the game began. As Head Coach Justin was coming out on to the ice, he was accidentally taken out by a player skating fast during warm up. Coach landed on the ice in such a way as to injure himself badly. Reports have it that he went to hospital with a severe shoulder injury, possibly a broken collar bone. We all hope that Coach Justin is OK.
