****Tough Loss****
A tough loss for the Cros-Bees this past Sunday. We came out firing on all cylinders and jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but couldn't hold off the hard charging Avengers.
Give the Avengers credit, they played hard the whole game and had a great effort from their goalie! Despite the loss, there were a few Cros-Bees that had their best game yet, Tori "Pink Panther" Mitchell worked the hardest we've seen yet and just seems to be getting better every game. Riley "Arpie" Arpagaus who had his best game as a Cros-Bee getting dirty in the corners taking on two Avengers and coming out with the puck! Ryan "Digger" Ford played outstanding on defence with a bunch of great stops on the Avengers best player! And finally Ethan "Big E" Prosty played his best game to date using his size to win battles for the puck!
This week just shows that we need to play a full 30 minute game to win Cros-Bees, we'll need a better effort this week as we play a resurgent Black Knights team who hasn't lost in two weeks!
