I would like to thank all that came out to our first ever dryland session as a team. It was very fun and great to see everyone together again. I would definitely call last night very successful and progressing smoothly. I am very impressed with the transition from Bandits to Blaze and the way the kids listened to everything we addressed. What a great start to our upcoming year.
We worked on some very basic individual skills that can be worked on at home. We also did some team building exercises. Every child had a moment to say a positive on the night and everything said was so very encouraging. Next week we will change up the venue. We will be heading to St. Thomas school (6:30-8pm)where we will address and work on some physical activities and exercises that can only benefit with the strength and development of these children. The Minor Peewee AA Blaze team will also be close working on their conditioning and you will be able to see the degree of progression over a few years of dryland exercises. Everything is an introduction to our season and meant to help each family and child continue to work on good, healthy habits. Please make sure your child is in running shoes and wearing loose clothing. Again please bring water or a sport drink as well as a healthy snack for us to share afterwards and continue our team building. So very proud. Great group of families and teammates. Go Blaze.
