The boys gave it a good run at the Kawartha Lakes AA tournament this past weekend, with a 4-3 win over the GTHL's West Mall Lightning and a dominating 5-1 win over the Oshawa Jr. General's there were a lot of positives the Blaze could take from the weekend con't.......
The first loss of two came vs our division rival Newmarket Redmen, the Blaze once again outplayed the redmen for 2-1/2 periods but were outscored in the end 4-1, the second loss came in the 4th game of the round robin with a 4-1 loss to the Clarington Toros.
Despite the losses the Blaze can look at their 2-2 record as a successful first tournament of the 14'-15' campaign.
Way to go boys, you made us all proud this weekend!!
